More Charges for Alabama High School Coach

PICKENS COUNTY, AL (WCBI-TV) – A Pickens Academy coach is facing more charges, accusing him of having sex with a former student.

32 year-old James “Jamie” Parker is now charged with six counts of a school employee engaging in a sex act with a student.

In court documents prosecutors allege Parker was in a sexual relationship with a female from December 2014 through May 2015.

Investigators say the incidents occurred at Parker’s home in Pickensville.

His bond was set at 60 thousand dollars today.

Parker’s wife, Charli, is charged with 11 counts of a school employee engaging in a sex act with a students.

Court documents show Charli Parker’s alleged sexual relationship with the male student dates back to October 2014 and happened as recent as March 28th.

District Attorney Chris McCool says the incidents involving the Parkers are unrelated and didn’t happen on a school property.

McCool also says the victims in this case are not related.
