Shooting Investigation Underway

STARKVILLE, MISS. (WCBI) – – A shooting investigation is underway in the Starkville area as law enforcement try to gather more information, including where it happened. Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department says they are investigating a shooting that happened Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., but it’s unclear exactly where it happened. Blood was found in Oktibbeha County, but the victim was found in Noxubee County. The victim was transferred to the Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle from County Road in Noxubee for non-life threatening gun shot wound to the arm. They are still searching for a suspect.
