Dollar General Hit By Embezzlement Case

OXFORD (WCBI) – An Oxford woman is accused of giving herself a Christmas bonus but the big problem is her company knew nothing about  it.

21 year Shannon Garron is charged with felony  embezzlement for taking nearly $5,000 from the Dollar General store where she worked.   The company filed charges in late December and Lafayette County deputies served the warrant last week.  Bond is set at $2,500.
