EMCC Registration Open for Second Intensive Fall Semester
Date(s) - 10/11/2013-10/14/2013
East Mississippi Community College
Registration is going on now for the Second Intensive Fall Semester at East Mississippi Community College. What is an intensive semester? For students with the discipline and the desire, it’s a way of taking college-credit classes over a shorter period of time, mid-October through mid-December. Financial aid and scholarships are still available.
“Intensive ‘mini-terms’ are a great opportunity for our current students, or students from the local universities, to pick up a class and not fall behind,” said EMCC Recruiting Coordinator Michael Black. “It’s a chance to get a class out of the way in, basically, eight wee
ks. And remember, our classes transfer anywhere.”
Here’s a look at the options for Intensive Semester students:
On-campus classes: Traditional, on-campus classes begin Monday, Oct. 14. The deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 11. The last day of regular classes is Tuesday, Dec. 10. Final exams are Dec. 11-12.
