ICC to present two-week summer institute for educators

Itawamba Community College will present a two-week summer institute for educators, beginning June 2, at the Belden Center.
One-day workshops, which meet from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., will be offered on a variety of topics including Project WILD; Entertaining Economics; Geography and the Arts; Soils, food and water: Housework that brings in dirt; Trekking the Trace: South; Building Classroom Community Through Place-Based Writing; Classroom Management: Smile, This Is Your Classroom; Project Food, Land and People; Health Occupations Technology: Hot Demand for Cool Jobs and M-STAR for Teachers.
Cost of each is $15, except Project WILD is $30, which includes the cost of the book.
