OCH Blood Drive Encourages Others to Give Back This Holiday Season

OCH Regional Medical Center
Christmas is the season of giving, and what better gift to give than the gift of life! This Tuesday, December 11, you can donate life-saving blood at OCH Regional Medical Center’s United Blood Services Blood Drive.
There is an urgent need for negative blood types, as this type of blood is less common than positive types. Eligible donors are encouraged to give blood regularly, three or four times a year, to keep hospital shelves stocked with lifesaving blood. Blood type O negative is the universal donor and can be given to any person; however, all blood types are still needed.
The OCH Blood Drive will take place in the community room located inside the Medical Center from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Donors must bring a photo ID. Make an appointment online at www.bloodhero.com (sponsor code: och), or contact OCH PR Coordinator Mary Kathryn Kight at 662-615-3067.
