Palmer Home’s Southern Soiree – Food, Fun, Entertainment
Starkville, Miss. – Palmer Home for Children is inviting the Golden Triangle community to celebrate spring in the South with a night under stars on April 6.
The inaugural Southern Soiree starts at 6 p.m. at The Stables on Woodside Drive in Starkville. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Palmer Home for Children.
“This is our first time having this event and we are excited to start the tradition off in Starkville,” said Katharine Hewlett, Palmer Home’s Director of Marketing and Communications. “This will be a fun, relaxing evening, full of Southern style and charm.”
Guests will enjoy true Southern culinary arts with food catered by Maggie’s Catering. Everything from shrimp n’ grits to mini lemon ice box pies will be served. Tux Shop Hero from Birmingham, Ala. will be providing the music and entertainment along with the Palmer Home children’s choir, the Treblemakers. A restaurant gift card raffle made possible by Eat With US Group, and many silent auction items will be available for bidding.
“We look forward to having a big crowd,” Hewlett said. “Palmer Home provides free services to children in our state. This event will help raise funds to continue to give more to the children we care for and also thank the sponsors and supporters of our organization.”
