Starkville Bridges Getting Ahead Inquiry Meeting

Starkville Bridges is holding an inquiry meeting on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 pm at the Emerson Family Center at 1504 Louisville Street for its next Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin’ by World class. The meeting will be presented by facilitators and past participants from the Starkville Bridges initiative.
The Getting Ahead class is an educational training tool designed to help individuals understand the hidden rules amongst each class. The class offers insight on bridging divides among socio-economic lines and provides a group atmosphere in which a multitude of current and relevant topics can be discussed.
Starkville Bridges is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization committed to eradicating poverty in Oktibbeha County by breaking down existing paradigms about poverty and providing education and resources to people in poverty to transition into the middle class.
