False Report Charge Lands Nettleton Woman In Jail

MONROE COUNTY (WCBI) – Her first intent was to have her husband locked up but now a Nettleton resident is the one looking through a jail cell.

28 year old Ashley Nicole Miller is charged with filing a false report.  Miller is accused of making a complaint of domestic violence against her husband but then returned to justice court asking for the charges to be dismissed.  Court officials talked to her and she admitted she exaggerated the claims against him.  That’s when Monroe County investigators decided to seek the false report charge.  Miller faces a $5,000 bond in the case.
