STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Hundreds of family and friends gathered Saturday morning at 16th Section Church in Starkville to say goodbye .

Geraldine Rice, who was a volunteer fire fighter with District 5, passed away last week in a Starkville house fire that also claimed the lives of 92-year old Celia Robson and 23-year old Samuel Razi Morris.

Some Oktibbeha County fire fighters and Kirk Rosenhan, the Oktibbeha fire coordinator showed up to pay their respects today. The family has also set up a memorial fund at CB&S Bank.

Rice was 44.
