Federal Time For Itawamba Sex Crime

ABERDEEN (WCBI) – An Alabama man will spend 10 years in federal prison for traveling across state lines to have sex with a 12 year old Itawamba County girl.

Judge Sharion Aycock Tuesday handed that sentence to 25 year old Wesley Scott Greene. Greene pleaded guilty earlier this summer to child exploitation  and crossing state lines to engage in sex with a minor. Itawamba County Investigators first discovered the crime after learning Greene propositioned the victim in an online gaming room. Greene, who was living in Tennessee at the time of the crime, traveled to Itawamba County twice in December 2014 to meet the 12 year old girl.
