Fight Leads To Felony Charges
IUKA (WCBI) – Two Iuka residents learn the hard way if you call deputies to break up a fight, you might want to hide your dope before they get there.
50 year old Sherry Gammill and 49 year old Dundee Erwin both face felony possession charges after their arrest earlier today. Officers answered a disturbance call to a residence and when they got there could smell marijuana. Gammill let deputies search the house where they found a quarter pound of suspected reefer. Gammill was arrested immediately and deputies later picked up Erwin because he fled the home when deputies were called. Both are waiting on bond to be set.
