Fire Affecting Travel On I-22 In Alabama

WALKER COUNTY AL. (WCBI) –  Travel on I-22 in parts of Alabama is being impacted by a brush fire.

Heavy smoke is covering the road near jasper in Walker County.  The most affected area is near exit 65 in Jasper.The interstate is open at this time, however  motorists should use extreme caution in the area due to low visibility.  ALDOT is on scene assisting with traffic control
