COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-A blaze that broke out on Ruffin Road is under investigation still Thursday (11-1). Last night just before ten Columbus fire fighters were dispatched to the fire after neighbors noticed smoke. Fire fighters were able to put the remaining smoldering with ease thanks to the windows and doors being shut. The house was vacant though after walking through the house a candle was seen. It is believed that a vagrant, kids, or others could have started the fire on accident.
