Food Pantries Find Financial Help For Holidays

TUPELO (WCBI) – Food pantries from across Lee County are getting some help from the Tupelo/Lee County affiliate of the Create Foundation.  Tupelo’s First UMC,St. Luke UMC, Salvation Army, All Saints and the Faith Fooid Pantry in Nettleton all received $2,500 checks Wednesday.  Emmanuel COGIC will bank a $1,000 check to help in its food pantry ministry.

The group is also pledging $5,000 to support the student food backpacks for the holidays.
