Hazzle led the Bulldogs for 26 years and won the MHSAA Class 3A state title in 2008. Hazzle was a baseball star at MVSU (1974-77).

“It’s a big honor,” Hazzle said, “one I’ve been blessed to be able to see, just a blessing to be able to see such an honor.”

They join five other inductees into a hall that already includes NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice and former MVSU quarterback Willie Totten and Hazzle’s baseball coach, Clinton Vasser.

Harmon played baseball and football at MVSU (1976-81) and led the Golden Wave to two Class 5A state championships and saw pitcher Kirk Presley drafted in the first round of the 1993 MLB Draft by the New York Mets.
