Video: Four Busted In Connection With Far-Reaching Crime Ring

OKTIBBEHA CO., Miss. (WCBI) – It is a crime ring that reaches across multiple north Mississippi counties.

Tonight the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s department is charging four people that they believe are connected to arson, burglary and drug possession.

54-year-old Mike Tribble of Cedar Bluff is charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of grand larceny out of Kosciusko.

Maben resident Chad Tharp is charged with burglary of an automobile.

The 43-year-old is awaiting arraignment.

54-year-old Barry Tuck, also of Maben is charged with two counts of burglary.

Tuck is also waiting for a bond hearing on arson charges in Clay County.

Bond has already been set for 46-year-old Jason Thomas Williams of Maben.

Williams is charged with receiving stolen property, burglary and arson.

His bond amounts stand at $40,000.

As WCBI reported earlier this week, Williams’ father, 72-year-old Thomas “Tommy” Williams has been charged by Clay County deputies in an arson-for-hire scheme.

Sheriff Eddie Scott says Williams is connected to the West Point Stockyard fire this past November.

Scott says Williams was paid to set the fire.

Oktibbeha County and Clay County investigators say more arrests are expected.
