Group Ranks Jackson, Mississippi As Fattest City In America

(WCBI-TV) – One company has ranked a Mississippi city as the “fattest city” in the country.

WalletHub released a list of 100 cities Wednesday ranked by levels of obesity. Jackson, Mississippi is at the top of the list, followed by Memphis, Tennessee. The group includes parts of Mississippi to be in the Memphis area.

The group says it looked at 17 factors of “weight-related problems,” including access to healthy food.

Other regional cities in the top 25 are below, with their place in the rankings.
