STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – As the Obama Administration continues to upgrade the health care website, organizations right here in the Golden Triangle are making sure the community understands how to get insurance.

New Zion United Methodist Church in Starkville hosted a panel to discuss the Affordable Care Act. Panelists included H & R Block, the Mississippi Health Department, Hosford Law Firm and Greater Meridian Health Clinic. With more than 50 million uninsured Americans, Church representatives say it’s their obligation to educate the community about their options.

“We realize that the President has put in a lot of hard work and effort to get this law and all we need to do us just go and get it. Sign up for it,” says Ridgel.
