OKTIBBEHA CO., Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) On 07/28/2013, at approximately 0530 hours, Deputies of the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on Maben-Starkville Road, near the Town of Maben, MS for a 911 hangup

call. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered a Burglary in progress. While on scene, Deputies arrested

Dewayne Antoine Perry, 32, of Ocean Springs, MS. Perry was transported to the Oktibbeha County

Jail where he is being held on charges of Burglary of a Dwelling, Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon, Simple Assault of a Vulnerable Adult and Sexual Battery. Perry is currently being held in the Oktibbeha County Jail awaiting arraignment. Bond has not been set at this time. Perry is expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Oktibbeha County Justice Court.
