Video: Identity Of Driver Killed In Train Wreck Released

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The identity of the person killed in an early Tuesday morning train wreck is identified.

Coroner Greg Merchant tells WCBI that 52-year-old Frederick Clark was traveling east in a pick-up truck on Main Street around 3:45 am when he struck a train traveling north.

Roads surrounding the area were closed for a while Tuesday morning as crews worked to clear the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
