1 Arrested, 1 Wanted In Lowndes Shooting

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – One person wanted in connection with a Lowndes County shooting is arrested.

Rosland Barker is charged with one count of possession of a stolen firearm.

Lowndes County investigators say Barker was arrested Saturday in Aberdeen.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Dean Barker is wanted for two counts of aggravated assault.

He remains on the run.

The shooting happened on March 13th at the intersection of Land Road and Highway 373.

Two people were shot.
