$16,000 in Bad Checks Lands Man in Jail

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Investigators say $16,000 in bad checks land an Oxford man in jail.

Oxford Police say 30-year-old Cedric Johnson is charged with false pretense after a family remember reported Johnson has written checks on an account without authorization.

Johnson’s bond is set at $5,000.
