UNION COUNTY, Miss. — A joint investigation between the U.S. Marshall’s Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Mississippi Highway Patrol led to the arrest of an Arizona trio and the seizure of approximately 17 pounds of marijuana.

The arrest came after a Tuesday evening traffic stop by the Mississippi Highway Patrol on Highway 78 in Union County, near the Glenfield exit, at approximately 6 p.m. After the joint investigation, approximately the marijuana was discovered and officers learned one of the occupants was wanted for multiple felony warrants from the state of Arizona.

Amy Dills, 35, of Mesa, Ariz., and Richard Williams, 18, Chandler, Ariz., were both charged with conspiracy to deliver marijuana. They are currently in the Union County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
Tony Gamble, 28, of Mesa, Ariz., was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was also wanted for 15 felony counts of child prostitution from the state of Arizona.

The New Albany Police Department also assisted officers during the traffic stop.
