3 Suspended in Neshoba Overtime Probe
PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (AP) – Three Neshoba County workers are on administrative leave without salary while the state auditor’s office investigates overtime pay discrepancies.
County Attorney Wade White tells The Neshoba Democrat the auditor’s office discovered about $700,000 in overtime which was unaccounted for over the last four to 10 years.
White says the county employees who are on administrative leave without pay are: bookkeeper Jill Watkins, payroll clerk Tammy Gomillion and purchasing clerk Faye Russell.
