30th Annual Super Bulldog Weekend In Full Swing

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville is the place to be this weekend and it’s all apart of the 30th Annual Super Bulldog Weekend.

Mississippi State alumni, students and fans can get their fill of all things MSU, from good food to sports this weekend.

The events kicked off Friday with the annual pig cooking competition, which attracts many competitors from around the state.

Rainy weather held off on Saturday for the judging of the cooking competition and the spring football game, along with baseball and softball games.

Those enjoying the weekend say it’s a great way to kick off the spring season.

“There is a lot of activities going on. There is the Cotton District Arts Festival, the spring football game, the baseball games and softball games. So there is something for everybody. I always look forward to  this weekend,” said MSU student, Haley Morgan.

“It’s a great weekend to relax and hang out, I love going to sporting events. There’s three baseball games and the football game,” said MSU student, Madison Hudnall.
The weekend wraps up Sunday with a softball game at 1 pm and a baseball game at 2.
