Video: 3rd Arrest Made In Columbus Robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police made a third arrest, on Monday, in connection with an armed robbery at an apartment complex.

Interim Police Chief Captain Fred Shelton says Robert Butler, 22, will be formally charged on Tuesday.

Jamory Ross, 18, and Anthony Gilmore, 19, were arrested last week.

They were denied bond.

The victim told investigators three men walked up to him and took his money outside Sandpiper Apartments on Eighth Street North on November 23rd.

Shelton says at least one of the suspects knew the victim, even sending him text messages after the hold up.
