MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Four people in Monroe County are arrested, now facing charges pertaining to the drug “ice.”

On May 22, Gayla Blansett of Okolona was arrested during a traffic stop on Highway 41.  Members of the Monroe County Narcotics Unit say Ice was found in her car. She was charged with possession. Bond has not been set, and Blansett remains in jail.

On the same day, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Hurt Martin Road.
Angela Blansett, Randy Blansett, and William Bryant, were arrested and charged with Possession of Ice with intent. Bond has also not been set for these three suspects.

Ice is similar to the powder drug speed, but its side effects are more harmful.
