A Lowndes County Traffic Stop Turns Into Manhunt

LOWNDES, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop turns into a manhunt after a Lowndes County deputy attempts to stop a vehicle for speeding on Tuesday morning, near Artesia Road.

Investigators say a juvenile was arrested by a Oktibbeha County deputy in Oktibbeha County when the vehicle stopped.

Two other people ran from law enforcement.

Deputies have not released any names.

Investigators later learned the vehicle was reported stolen in Noxubee County.
