Aberdeen ‘Boats’ Three Fishing Tourneys

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — The waters of Aberdeen Lake on the Tenn-Tom Waterway and area hotels will be a little extra busy next spring.

The city has landed three major fishing tournaments.

The Bass Federation will hold its Central Division Championship in Aberdeen May 31-June 5. That’ll bring as many as 120 fishermen from eight states and national TV exposure.

For the second year in a row, the Mississippi Bass Federation’s state tournament will be held in March. That tournament brought 160 anglers earlier this year.

And the federation’s youth state championship will be in June.
