Aberdeen Chief Questions City Attorney Alcohol Use

ABERDEEN, MS (WCBI) –  Aberdeen Police Chief Henry Randle says he plans to ask City Council members this evening to examine City Attorney Dudley Williams amid claims Williams has been in the courtroom after he had been drinking.  In a letter to the council, Randle outlines a November  incident  in Justice Court.randle letter

The Chief says Williams was asked to leave the court after someone smelled alcohol on his breath. Randle goes on to say that an MHP trooper performed a breath test and Williams was not allowed back into the court.  Randle adds he is concerned because Williams represents the city in some cases and wants some type of help offered to Williams.
