Aberdeen Hosts 20th Annual Women’s Health Fair

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — One clinic in Aberdeen continues to keep women healthy after 20 years.

The Aberdeen Health Clinic held its annual women’s health fair offering free screening and services.

Some services include blood pressure, bone density, depression screenings and services.

The fair added a few new booths including self-defense and how to stay safe while on the internet.

The clinic owner says fairs like this provides health services for those who can’t afford it.

“I think the mom we know about our health the better off we are and to open up to the community because a lot of people use health fairs as a way they can get basic screening services,” says Eunice Crump.

The event kicked off at 9 a.m. and wrapped up around 1 p.m.
