Aberdeen Peewee Coach Honored At Game

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI)- Parents of a pee wee football team in aberdeen honored their head coach for his hard work today. Foster Fields, is the head coach for Aberdeen’s Peewee football league. When he’s not calling plays, fields is working hard at the aberdeen fire department. Parents say he even visits his players to make sure they are making good grades and behaving in school. Fields says his dedication is more than winning games.

“It’s nice the parents appreciate my hard work. we got to get back to our youth. our youth is our future so this is my way of giving back to the community,” says Fields.

Parks and Recreation Director Tom Pulliam was also involved in honoring the coach.
