Aberdeen Police to Remember Fallen Officer Tuesday March 17th

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – The Aberdeen Police Department will remember one of its own Tuesday.

Eric King Wilson was killed in the line of duty twenty-four years ago. He was working on a drug investigation, and was shot in his car. Investigators believe he knew his killer, but no one has ever been arrested for the crime.

To honor his sacrifice, the Police Department will lead a procession from Aberdeen City Hall to Officer Wilson’s grave at Baptist Grove Cemetery in Prairie.

Wilson’s death is still considered an open case, and investigators ask anyone with information on the shooting to contact the Aberdeen Police Department.
