Accused Burglar Held By Victims Until Deputies Arrive
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – He’s accused of breaking into a home and getting caught red-handed.
That’s when the owners held the Lowndes County man until deputies arrived.
Jeremy Brownlee, 23, of Columbus is charged with with two counts of burglary.
Lowndes County investigators say a home and vehicle were broken into before the owners arrived home this past Saturday morning.
Brownlee is also charged with one count of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer for allegedly spitting on a deputy.
He has previously been charged with burglary.
