Ackerman Man Dead After 1-Car Accident Along Natchez Trace Parkway

MATHISTON, Miss. (WCBI) — An Ackerman man is dead after a Saturday night accident along the Natchez Trace parkway.

26-year-old Deep Bharucha was killed when his car left the parkway, hit a culvert and flipped.

Park Rangers say he was thrown from the car.

Webster County Coroner Steve Wells pronounced Bharucha dead at the scene.

The New Jersey native was the manager of the Subway restaurant in Bruce.
