Video: Airbus Helicopters Lands Israeli Contract

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) –   The  Airbus Helicopters plant in Columbus will soon start work on its first order for a foreign customer.  Airbus has won the contract to build six helicopters for he Israeli police force.  Four of those will be the H 125’s which are built in Columbus.  The locally produced helicopters will be modified to include thermal imaging, searchlights, moving map systems and cargo swings.  The first helicopters are slated tobe delivered by the end of next year.
