All Clear At CAFB Main Gate

COLUMBUS AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. – The Columbus Air Force Base Main Gate was
closed to all traffic Oct. 19 after a possible threat was detected during a
routine vehicle inspection.

Security Forces evacuated and secured the area until Tupelo Bomb Squad
deemed the area all clear.

The gates are once again open for traffic.
