Amnesty Program In Tishomingo County Continues

IUKA, MS (WCBI) – Time is ticking on the Tishomingo County Sheriffs Department’s amnesty program.

People with fines issued before March 1 of this year can come in and pay those fines or make arrangements to settle the balance.  Warrants for failure to appear or failure to pay which have been issued will be rescinded if the defendants come in voluntarily and talk to court officials.   The amnesty program will run until the end of the month.  So far response has been good since the plan was announced .
