Two Amory Men Arrested Following Traffic Stop

MONROE, Miss. (Press Release) — A traffic stop on Hwy 25 N. in Amory resulted in one arrest.

Amory resident Michael Brown, 45, was arrested Tuesday following a traffic stop. Brown was found to have been in possession of ice, or methamphetamine.

Brown was charged with possession. Bond has not been set.

He is currently being detained at the Monroe County Detention Center.

A separate incident, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit arrested 30-year-old Amory resident William Wade Aycock IV.

Aycock was arrested following a traffic stop on Hwy 25 N. in Amory. He has been charged for tampering with physical evidence.

Aycock’s bond has not been set, and he is currently being held at the Monroe County Detention Center.
