Amory Man Charged With Statutory Rape

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — Robert Glynn Simpson Jr., 22, of Amory, was arrested
May 4 and charged with two counts of statutory rape of a 15-year-old girl, according to Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell.

The girl’s parents reported the allegations.

Simpson is currently housed at the Monroe County Adult Detention Center waiting to be arraigned before a Monroe County Justice Court judge.
