MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An Amory man is dead after he loses control of his mini van.

According to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley, 39 year old Albert Wesley Hall was traveling down Highway 8 near Greenwood Springs Road around 5:45 Saturday evening when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway. He needed to be airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo where Hall later died of his injuries.

Also in the mini van was Hall’s seven year old son, who was airlifted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. No word yet of his condition He was wearing his seat belt.

Mississippi Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
