Amory Police Investigate Damage To A Nature Trail

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – Amory police are investigating damage to a nature trail.

Someone rode an ATV on the Northeast Mississippi Nature and Interpretive Trail this weekend, causing severe damage.

On it’s Facebook page, the police department says the trail is an ongoing project and hasn’t opened to the public.

The trail is on city property, where ATV’s are prohibited.

Repairs will now have to be made to the trail.

Cameras are also being installed to catch any future law breakers.
