Video: Army Corp of Engineers Equipment Barn Burns Down

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-More than $300,000 dollars of property burns to the ground as a fire guts the Army Corp of Engineers equipment barn.
Lowndes County District 4 and 5 firefighters were called to 750 Old West Point Road about 7:00 last night.
The barn was fully engulfed when the firefighters arrived.
According to Operations project manager Rick Saucer the barn was worth about $170,000 dollars while the equipment, which included 4 boats, three all-terrain vehicles and equipment trailers, was valued at $135,000 dollars.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation but it’s believed an electrical spark started the blaze.
