HAMILTON, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus man is behind bars for his alleged involvement in a string of burglaries in Monroe County.

Deputies arrested 18-year-old Kentez Cribbs, Thursday, and charged him with three counts of breaking and entering.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says the burglaries happened at three homes in Hamilton, Tuesday.

Cantrell tells WCBI Cribbs took items ranging from money to jewelry.

Cribbs is being held in the Monroe County jail, awaiting arraignment.
