Artist Comes Home To MSU

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY (WCBI) – A nationally known Webster County native who happens to be a well-known artist visits Mississippi State University.

There is a reception at the Cullis Wade Depot Thursday (2/21) where students and the general public are meeting with artist William “Bill” Dunlap.

Dunlap’s work is set up on campus at the gallery there at the MSU Welcome Center.

The artist’s work entitled, “Look At It-Think About It,” is meant to be more spiritual and intellectual on a college level.

“Thats what my education did for me. Introduced me to concepts and ideas I was not familiar with. And I either accepted them or rejected them or sometimes 10 years down the road I would re consider them,” said Dunlap.

The gallery showing is Thursday (2/21) between 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

All events at the gallery from now until April 5th are free and open to the public.
