Authorities Arrest Couple Wanted for Craigslist Fraud
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A couple wanted for allegedly trading with counterfeit money is behind bars.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in conjunction with the US Federal Marshal Service located 25-year-old Okolona man Dan Judd and 22-year-old West Point woman Shontell Wilborn. Judd and Shontell were both wanted for allegedly purchasing cellphones from Craigslist traders in north Mississippi with counterfeit money.
Authorities issued a warrant for the couple’s arrest in August.
Monroe County Justice Court Judge Robert Fowlks set Judd’s bond at $150,000, cash only, and Wilborn’s bond at $100,000, cash only.
They are currently detained at the Monroe County Detention Center.
