Video: Bond Set for Lowndes County Couple Arrested in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Lowndes County couple on the run for more than a week after $100,000 worth of crystal meth and $16,000 were found in their home were caught Saturday in Monroe County.

And they face a new round of charges.

41-year-old John Braddock and 29-year-old Angela Spratlin were arrested Saturday night without incident at the Briarwood Inn in Amory after Lowndes drug agents got a tip and called in Monroe County investigators.

Monroe Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says the couple were in possession of more crystal meth when they were arrested. They were interviewed Tuesday by local, state and federal investigators.

Spratlin’s bond was set at $25,000; Braddock’s bond was set at $250,000.
