MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The man allegedly responsible for a brutal Monroe County murder has made his first court appearance.

Stanley Pace, of Pell City Alabama, is charged with the murder of 43-year-old Ronny Duke, of Amory.

Pace’s bond is set at $750,000.

According to Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell, the two men had been drinking friday night when they got into a deadly argument.
