BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Noxubee County woman is facing drug charges in connection with a drug bust in Booneville.

Cherronica Franklin, 21, of Brooksville is charged with trafficking meth and trafficking cocaine.

Her bond was set at $75,000.

Broderick Wicks, 28, is facing the same charges, along with a possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charge.

His bond was set at $150,000.

Booneville Police Chief Michael Ramey says the charges are enhanced against Franklin and Wicks because a gun was also seized.

You may recall two women were arrested in Union County earlier this week and that led to a search warrant being served in the 100 of Eudora Heights in Booneville.

Law enforcement found meth, cocaine, and more than $1,000.

Ramey says stolen items from Union County, along with stolen property from Alabama and Georgia were also found.

Investigators believe the theft and drug ring could span several more counties.
